Video tools on your desktop.

Desktop development previewThe Tauri desktop development preview supports the same focused workflow: choose a video, convert or compress it, trim a clip, or extract audio, then save a separate output file.
Local video processing
The native edition runs FFmpeg on your computer without uploading your video. All four operations have been verified locally on macOS, including native preview and saving a trimmed MP4 as a new copy. Redistributable installers and other platform builds still need separate verification.
Assistant control on your computer
The local stdio MCP adapter gives a compatible assistant access to videos you explicitly select in the desktop app. It can inspect a selected file, create an edit, check progress and cancel work. Completed output appears in the app for preview and saving. Connecting a remote MCP server is a separate cloud-processing workflow.
Current availability
Public signed installers and app store releases are not available from this page yet. You can use all four operations in the web editor now, or connect a compatible AI assistant through MCP.
What the editor supports
Convert to H.264 MP4, compress to a target size, trim by start and end time, and extract MP3 audio. Multi-track timelines, generated footage, captions and visual effects are outside the current tool set.
